We are now accepting nominations for the 2025-2026 Chapter of the Year Award! Every year, the ALDF celebrates chapters that have shown incredible efforts in advancing the field of animal law and advocating for animals through original projects and initiatives. Chapters are a vital part of the growing movement and we would love to celebrate you all!
If you would like your student chapter to be considered for this award, please describe 3-5 of your chapter’s activities or events during the 2025-2026 academic year, and how they helped build community, offer support to animals, or raised awareness of animal law and protection issues.
Winners will be selected by ALDF staff and will receive an award to be given at the ALDF Student Convention in Washington, D.C. on October 16, 2026.
Submissions must be 500 words or less, and be received no later than 5 p.m. PST on Wednesday, September 2, 2026. Please email your submission to Priscilla Rader Culp at prader@aldf.org with the subject line “Chapter of the Year Nomination.” A confirmation of receipt will be sent. If you do not receive confirmation, please resubmit prior to the deadline. Only one nomination is accepted per chapter.
