Mentorship Program

The Animal Legal Defense Fund is pleased to announce the launch of the ALDF’s Mentor Program! Meaningful mentorship relationships are incredibly important to support law students’ and new graduates’ professional development. We appreciate the willingness of attorneys to support the next generation of animal law attorneys. The program is designed to foster relationships between attorney mentors and law student or recent graduate mentees. Mentors should offer guidance and encouragement to their mentee, facilitate networking in the animal law field, and share their specialized knowledge. The goal is to enhance mentees’ understanding of the legal profession and help prepare them for their career in animal law. 

After reviewing the Mentorship Program Code of Conduct and the ALDF Mentorship Program Guidelines, register today to become a mentee or a mentor! All eligible applicants will be considered for the opportunity to be part of the Mentorship Program.
