Factory Farm Moratorium Lunch and Learn

LC ALDF is collaborating with Food & Water Watch and Stand Up to Factory Farms to institute a factory farm moratorium within Oregon’s groundwater management areas (SB 80). Chronic exposure to nitrate-contaminated wells, stemming in part from poor waste management practices used by nearby factory farms, are linked to a myriad of health risks and has jeopardized access to clean, safe drinking water for nearby communities.
