Join the UIC Law Animal Law Program on Thursday, March 6, at 12 p.m. CST for a screening and conversation by Dr. Emily Trunnell, Director of PETA’s Science Advancement and Outreach division.

Dr. Trunnell will screen Test Subjects, a short documentary in which she is featured. Directed by Alex Lockwood, the film explores the journeys of three scientists who faced immense pressure to experiment on animals in their graduate studies—and who now advocate for a more humane, effective scientific paradigm that no longer relies on animal models.

Dr. Trunnell will speak about the impacts of animal experimentation on science and students. This is a hybrid event sponsored by the UIC Law Student Animal Legal Defense Fund Chapter and the UIC Animal Law Fund.
